This is Luke's first time performing for KAAC. The concert at Harmon Park will begin at 7:00. Luke Mills is a singer/songwriter and country artist from Nebraska. He released his “Boots” EP in Jan 2015. Since that release, he has seen two of his songs maintain a strong presence on regional country radio stations and opened for Chris Janson (Buy Me A Boat), Blackhawk, Lee Brice, and a handful of other country artists.
Luke has been touring, recording, and writing his own music since 1999. After navigating the independent music market for over a decade, he established himself as a songwriter who engages audiences through his recordings and live shows. This 35 year old wrote his first song when he was 13 after listening to country radio as a child and being influenced by George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Clint Black.
The food vendors will start serving at 6:00 pm and will include: The Big Pig, Boy Scout Troop 158 selling popcorn and cold water and Tropical Sno will also be on site. There will also be artists showing and selling their wares. Bring your family & friends along with your lawn chairs and be ready for the best night of the summer.
This free concert will be at Harmon Park and the ever popular band Bases Loaded will beging playing at 7:00. They play "COOL COUNTRY & CLASSY ROCK". Band Members: Steve Main, Gordy Chapin, Lori Main & Mike Sciachitano.
We are excited to introduce a new food vendor:
Burgos Queen Mexican Food Truck. Their food is awesome! There will also be popcorn and water sold by Boy Scout Troop 158 and also Tropical Sno will be on site. Vendors will begin selling at 6:00 pm. This year you will even get a chance to stroll around and view visual artists' displays and even buy something special to take home.
Bring your lawn chairs and come with your family and friends. It will be a wonderful evening.
Free concert in Harmon Park, Kearney, Nebraska. Tyler & Nick Talbott are a favorite of the Kearney Area Arts Council and this part of the country. The Talbott Brothers are an Alternative Folk/Rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Nick and Tyler form an alternative sound that balances sibling-blood-harmonies with their instrumental ensemble of guitars, mandolin, harmonicas and percussion. Their entertaining effect on stage is embraced by multiple generations, as they are known for charming and energetic performances that blend singer-songwriter styles with folk, rock and pop.
The food vendor are The Food Truck, The Boy Scouts selling popcorn & water and also Tropical Sno will be there. Food vendors begin selling at 6:00 pm. There will also be local artists showing and selling their wares at the park. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the evening with us!
