Our Concerts in the Park series happens (almost) every Sunday evening in June, July, and August, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Harmon Park in the heart of Kearney. We feature local artists from around the region. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, although there is some park bench seating up front near the stage. Enjoy a tasty treat from one of our food trucks, or popcorn from the Boy Scouts! Free-will donations are accepted.
Brought to you on the 2nd Monday of every month (August-May), Jazz at the World is a 16-piece jazz band in the tradition of Count Basie. It’s a reading band where folks gather to sight-read music together. Bring your instrument and you can sit in with the band for a tune or two! We offer a full bar and concessions stand and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the beautiful World Theatre, downtown on The Bricks. Free-will donations are accepted.
